A 77-year-old man who is reportedly a retired Chicago Fire Department Captain avoided becoming the latest statistic in the Windy City thanks to concealed carry.
On Saturday afternoon, po-po say the man opened his garage when a car pulled up and an armed male exited and demanded his belongings.
The elderly man pulled out his gun and fatally shot the would-be robber in the head & chest.
The man was not injured and did have a valid concealed-carry license.
