So the school wants students to get the jab so badly, they are booting unvaccinated students who don’t even step foot on campus from taking any classes virtually.
Senior Logan Hollar, 22,says he ignored the university’s vaccine mandate because he opted to take all of his classes remotely.
But he says he was locked out of his Rutgers email and related accounts when he went to pay his tuition at the end of last month.
He was told that he needed to be vaccinated even though he has no plans to attend in person classes.
He hasn’t been able to attend any of his virtual classes since the semester started on the 1st of this mongh.
He tells NJ.com, “I find it concerning for the vaccine to be pushed by the university rather than my doctor. If someone wants to be vaccinated, that’s fine with me, but I don’t think they should be pushed.”
He adds that he’s not concerned about the virus because he’s young and stays healthy with exercise.
Hollar’s stepfather, Keith Williams blasted the school saying “I believe in science, I believe in vaccines, but I am highly confident that COVID-19 and variants do not travel through computer monitors by taking online classes.”
