Texas Fleebag Dems Sue Gov Abbott, Saying He Gave Them “Anxiety & Distress”

Twenty-two of the Texas Democrats who “fled” to Washington, DC on a private jet as part of a super spreader event has filed suit against Gov. Greg Abbott, saying he “deprived” them of “liberty” by forcing them to flee which resulted in them suffering from “much anxiety and distress over separation from their families, and much discomfort and embarrassment."

They add that they’ve also have suffered damages to their reputations.

The suit states that the efforts by Republicans to bring them home to complete the special session “infringed on their constitutional rights to free speech and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

Republican House Speaker Dade Phelan and State Rep. James White are also listed as defendants in the frivolous suit.

The Democrats also say in the lawsuit that they “have lost much time from their homes and the companionship and care of their families and have been required to spend substantial sums of money.”

The plaintiffs in the suit include:

State Reps. Senfronia Thompson, Trey Martinez Fischer, Gene Wu, Vikki Goodwin, Ron Reynolds, Eddie Rodriguez, Jon Rosenthal, Jasmine Crockett, Mary Ann Perez, Alma Allen, Christina Morales, Nicole Collier, Celia Israel, Ana-Maria Ramos, Barbara Gervin-Hawkins, Terry Meza, Donna Howard, Jarvis Johnson, Ray Lopez, Shawn Thierry, Elizabeth Campos, and Gina Hinojosa.

The lawmakers seeking $5 in actual damages and an additional $10 in punitive damages, according to the suit.

Are they really this stupid to think that this latest publicity stunt is a good idea.
