Microsoft Censors Image Search for 'Tank Man' Worldwide

Microsoft kowtowing to the Chi-Coms as picture and videos of “Tank Man”, the Chinese man who stopped the tanks during the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, were censored from Bing searches on Friday, the anniversary of the event.

Of course, Microsoft is now claiming that the images and videos were removed from worldwide searches due to “accidental human error."

Yeah right, Bing operates in China and thus they already cave to the communist demands which forces Microsoft to censor search results within the country.

Yahoo reports:

“A block on keywords like "tank man" was expected in China. Microsoft can run Bing in China as it has an agreement to filter out searches for subjects the Chinese government doesn't like, such as the Tiananmen Square massacre (whose anniversary passed on June 4th) or the Dalai Lama. Rivals like Google refuse to operate in China due to censorship concerns.”

So China’s censorship is now being extended to the US with the help of an American company.
