CNN Distances Self Freelance Contributor’s Pro-Hitler, Anti-Semitic Tweets

A CNN freelance journalist Adeel Raja deleted some pro-Hitler, anti-Semitic posts on social media.

Raja has 54 bylines at CNN.com with his most recent article being published on September 16 of last year.

This isn’t Raja’s first vile tweet.

Yasar Ali has screenshot of Raja’s past stuff including him writing that he’s supported Germany in the 2014 World Cup because “Hitler was a German and he did good with those Jews!” The next day he tweeted, “Hail Hitler!”

CNN initially claimed ignorance over the tweet then network spokesman Matt Dornic told Mediaite:

“Adeel Raja has never been a CNN employee. As a freelancer, his reporting contributed to some newsgathering efforts from Islamabad. However, in light of these abhorrent statements, he will not be working with CNN again in any capacity.”
