From the Czar:
"My friend Peter Nelson of Nelson Water Gardens sent me this pic of a client of his whose koi population was hit by river otters in Buffalo Bayou, and this message:
“One of the koi ponds i want to show you at some point had an otter attack. First I know of in Houston area. They eat the small ones and kill the big ones for sport. Wiped out about 40 fish in 2 nights. Many thousands of dollars. I can't freaking believe it.”
So, what odd animal have you seen around Houston (or where you live) that you didn’t know was native to that area? Photos if you have ‘em, stories if you’ll share ‘em."
