So the Biden administration is now openly and explicitly encouraging foreigners to head to the US border.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said yesterday at the White House press briefing that the Biden administration is working 24/7 to help out illegal immigrants trying to come to the US.
He says they are working to “replace the cruelty of the past administration with an orderly, safe and humane immigration process...” for illegals seeking asylum.
“we are working around the clock seven days a week to make that timeframe as short as possible, but they need to wait. But they need to wait with a particular goal in mind. We are not saying don't come, we're saying don't come now because we will be able to deliver a safe and orderly process to them as quickly as possible.”
He says the problem they have in getting more illegals here is that CDC rules currently require the US Border Patrol to return arriving illegal immigrants to Mexico under Covid-19 travel restrictions.
Mayorkas then flat out lied when asked if there was a crisis at the border. He claimed there wasn't.
If there's no crisis at the border then why has the administration been forced to re-open a youth migrant facility on the border.
