Biden Uses Parkland Anniversary To Push Anti-2nd Amendment Policies

In the words of Democrat Rahm Emanuel, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.”

Biden views the Parkland shooting in basically the same vein: never let the death of several high schoolers and staffers go to waste in their ultimate quest to repeal the 2nd Amendment.

Biden put out a statement yesterday demanding more “gun control”.

He wants “background checks” on all guns sales along with bans on “assault weapons” and “high capacity magazines”. In addition, he wants to eliminate “immunity for gun manufacturers who knowingly put weapons of war on our streets”.

First off, on the “background checks” on all gun sales proposal, individuals are already required to get background checks on guns.

On “assault weapons” ban, that’s flat out silly because “assault weapon” is a made up term. What exactly constitutes an “assault weapon.”

As Dana Loesch writes about “high capacity magazines”:

“Magazines are universal, can be made at home, and are impossible to regulate and are not dangerous.
There is no such thing as a “magazine clip,” either, as I heard my friend Piers Morgan say recently on television the other night. The capacity of a magazine is irrelevant: the VA tech murderer used handguns to carry out the single deadliest school shooting in our nation’s history. You can change a magazine in seconds. Criminals will just buy multiple magazines. Regulation bypassed.”

And Biden’s push to “eliminate “immunity for gun manufacturers who knowingly put weapons of war on our streets” is just a back door way to sue gun manufacturers out of existence. There is no special immunity for them. How about going after criminals using the guns.
