Police in Lancaster, Pennsylvania were called to the home for a domestic disturbance call.
Body-cam footage shows the officer at the front of the home when 27-year-old Ricardo Munoz “immediately emerges from inside and runs toward the officer, brandishing a knife above his head, in clear view, in a threatening manner”.
The police officer fired a gun at Munoz, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
BLM agitators used Munoz’s death to engage in rioting on the streets of Lancaster.
A number of police vehicles were damaged.
Over the course of the night, protesters agitated in the street and demanded that livestreamers and journalists to stop documenting their activity.
Some protesters geared up in body armor and stated that there would be no peace, and that they would get results "one way or another."
Other protesters stated that there would be some form of retribution to the police, and that it was time to "strap up," which is common slang for arming up.
