A group of men who described themselves as “armed rednecks” decided to help their fellow neighbors defend their business from looters.
They say they showed up at that particular business because the owners were having to defend their business from looters.
One of the men said these business owners are “out here with machetes and shattered windows trying to keep looters out of their business because cops can’t get here".
The men said they support the protesters, but not the riots.
They also referenced Korean shop owners in L.A. who defended their stores from rooftops in the Rodney King riots in 1992.
They said "bottom line: justice for George Floyd but I hope they stop looting at some point. If there were more of us, we could stop them from looting. But it's just us four."
