HPOU’s Joe Gamaldi who also serves at the Vice-President of Fraternal Order of Police appeared on “Fox & Friends” this morning to discuss Beto’s gun confiscation program.
He said:
“the only thing more idiotic than Beto O’Rourke suggesting we should go door-to-door and seize citizens who are following the law’s property is his current presidential run.I think he’s polling at 2%..his brilliant idea to connect with our citizens is to go door-to-door and seize their property. It’s completely ridiculous. It puts our officers in a very dangerous situation where we’re showing up to someone’s house, we’re armed. These people are obviously armed and now you expect us to seize their guns. Gimme a break. This is a joke.”
He also hit Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, saying “if we want to have a real conversation about guns in this country, then let’s have it. How about we talk about the activists DAs and judges across this country...we’re letting thousands of people go with violent gun crimes. Our DA is the worse, Kim Ogg, she’s letting thousands of people go who are committing violent crimes with guns and they are repeat offending over and over again, so if we wanna have a conversation about guns violence in this country, let’s talk about using the laws we have right now and throw the book at these dirt bags that are victimizing the hard working people of our community.”
