Colorblind Firefighter Sees American Flag In Color for the First Time

Georgia Firefighter Spencer Caradine says that he never knew he suffered from red-green colorblindness until a co-worker noticed.

Caradine says "I guess my colors were just different than everyone else's."

A co-worker secretly gave him a colorblind test, when he realized that Caradine couldn't see red and green, they ordered him special glasses.

The first thing Caradine wanted to see with his new glasses on was the American flag. The sight brought him to tears.

He said "it was so much different from what I've ever seen.It was more beautiful."
