House Dems Will Hold Hearings This Week On She-Jack's Reparations Proposal

The House Judiciary Committee is will hold hearings on Wednesday to discuss Sheila Jackson-Lee’s bill that would establish a commission to “study” the impact of slavery and discrimination in the colonies and the United States and then would basically make recommendations about the need for reparations as a “form of apology”.

The issue has become a top issue among Democrats in 2020 field so desperately pandering in the hopes of picking up black votes.

She-Jack reintroduced the reparations bill in the House earlier this year, and she's hosting the hearings. She says that the federal government “has the ability” to “address all of the ills that unfortunately have plagued the (black) community for a very, very long time”.
