Houston Police Chief: Man Arrested With Guns, Ammo Didn't Have Unlawful Int

(Houston, TX)  --  Police in Texas don't believe a man found with a stash of weapons and ammunition in a Houston hotel had any unlawful intent.  Houston police found an AR-15, a shotgun, a handgun and loads of ammunition when they arrested Russell Lawrence Ziemba early Sunday at the Hyatt Regency Houston after a report he was drunk and harassing people.  The venue is hosting a New Year's Eve celebration, stoking fears that Ziemba had some sort of intent to use the weapons.  However, police Chief Art Acevedo said Ziemba was keeping the guns in the hotel room for safekeeping.  He's been booked on charges of assaulting a police officer and trespassing.
