Border violence brewing again

Police in Mexico’s northern state of Chihuahua say 772 people were killed in drug-related violence in 2017 and officials are concerned that this year might be even worse for cartel killings. December was the deadliest month of the year, with 88 homicides in Juarez, just over the Rio Grande from El Paso, Texas. In 2016, 546 people were killed in drug related violence.
