2018 Greets Newest Houstonians

Houston is greeting its newest natives, two babies born within half an hour of the start of 2018.  Jose Luis Hermida the Third made his entrance at 12:19 a.m. at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital, weighing in at 6 pounds and 11 ounces.

Less than ten minutes later, at 12:27 a.m., another boy, Theodore Sage Astrich, showed up at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women, tipping the scales at 7 pounds and 5 ounces.

Each newborn has an older sibling who will be glad to have somebody to play with.
