VIDEO: First transgender nominee will be on Vermont ballot. Thoughts?

So what do you think of this? The first transgender nominee of a major political party will be on the Vermont November ballot, after running against a 14-year-old, among others, for the democratic nomination.

Christine Hallquist will face Republican Governor Phil Scott in the November general election.  If Hallquist wins, she'll be the first transgender governor in our nation's history.  


Or what about leaving a state in the hands of a 14-year-old? Vermont has no age requirement to run for governor so Hallquist faced three other candidates for the Democratic nomination, including 14-year-old Ethan Sonneborn, who got about eight-percent of the vote.
