Christine Hallquist will face Republican Governor Phil Scott in the November general election. If Hallquist wins, she'll be the first transgender governor in our nation's history.
Or what about leaving a state in the hands of a 14-year-old? Vermont has no age requirement to run for governor so Hallquist faced three other candidates for the Democratic nomination, including 14-year-old Ethan Sonneborn, who got about eight-percent of the vote.
