Police agencies around the country are shutting down children’s lemonade stands --because they lack the proper municipal permits. Country Time Lemonade is coming to the rescue with a $500,000 program to pay for permits and the legal defense of those who want to participate in an annual rite of summer.

 We talked to legal analyst and former Harris County Prosecutor Rachel Hooper, who says some states (Utah is one) have passed bills to get rid of stupid regulations like this, and Texas could follow suit. She is attending the Texas Republican Convention.
