POLL QUESTION: The Trump 2024 strategy

As you heard over the weekend at the massive Trump rally in Waco, the former president is not only calling out Joe Biden and the Democrats. He continues to ramp up critical remarks against Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis.

"Trump doesn't want him to run" said political analyst Anthony Russo, "He doesn't want it to get to that point, so I think he's doing everything he can with a full attack, pre-announcement of DeSantis, to see if he can get him out of the race. But the thing is, I don't think he'll stop once DeSantis is in there, and I think across the board, that's bad for the Republican party."

It's a bad look, even though both Trump and DeSantis are two good candidates, if not the best that the GOP has to offer.

"I was a Trump voter obviously in 2016 and 2020, and if he does win the primary he's still got my vote" Russo told KTRH, "But when you look at this, for me this is the epitome of what the conservative party and what Republicans don't need, going into voting season for 2024."

Instead, many wish that at the end of the day, they would focus on going after the left, not each other. Especially heading into what is a must-win election for the GOP.
