There's a new report from Pulitzer prize winning writer Seymour Hersh, who claims that the U.S. is responsible for taking out the Nord Stream pipeline last year.
For those who believe that the report is true, it's because president Joe Biden basically said as much when addressing the media.
"If Russia invades, there will be longer a Nord Stream 2, we will bring an end to it" the president said. But how will you do that? He was asked in a follow up, "We will, I promise you we'll be able to do it."
But on the flip-side, the Hersh story is being criticized for only having one unnamed source."
"It's absolute and utter rubbish" said Harry Kazianis, foreign policy expert, "When you read the piece (which you can find on Substack) it looks very professionally done, there's just one problem with it. No outlet in the entire planet would ever publish this article for one reason. It doesn't meet journalistic standards, because it is all coming entirely from one unnamed source."
In a recent podcast interview, Hersh defend his story, and his source. Meanwhile, the White House has rejected the story, calling it "complete fiction".
