As gas prices continue to trickle down, Joe Biden continues to try and take the credit. But industry experts warn, this slight decrease is only temporary, and that we can expect the pain at the pump to return in a big way, after the midterms.
"President Biden says, we've done everything to bring down prices, and they take credit for the prices when they come down, but no responsibility when they go up, and I don't think Americans are buying it" said Phil Flynn, industry expert and FOX News contributor, "Everybody is cheering the fact that gasoline prices have gone down, but I think it has more to do with consumer pain."
Pain that is expected to get worse, much worse, when we get to winter.
"The new problem is, that we're going to pay the price for releasing oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve" Flynn told KTRH, "We've seen a pullback in gasoline demand, consumers are hurting and that's driven down the price. And while the release from the Reserve may have provided some relief, the problem is next winter we're going to have to pay those supplies back, and that's going to end up driving prices back up."
So, while gas prices may be a little lower, along with demand, Flynn says that due to the Biden administration's 'green' transition, along with demand across the globe, it all adds up to what could end up giving us the highest winter gas prices - ever.
That leads us to the poll question today.
