POLL QUESTION: More gun control after Uvalde?

Democrats nationwide are crying for more gun control measures in response to the Uvalde elementary school massacre that killed 19 students and two teachers.

Gubernatorial candidate Beto O'Rourke disrupted Texas leaders updating the public Tuesday.

The mass shooting also comes just ahead of the National Rifle Association's annual meeting in Houston.

Anti-gun groups have already threatened protests.

"Just because there's words on a paper that prevent this and it's a law, that doesn't stop evil from happening. Criminals are going to do criminal things, regardless if it's a law or not," says Kendall Jones, second amendment advocate and big game 'huntress.'

Jones says the left's emotional reaction to everything prevents any real discussion of preventing school shootings.

"Gun-free zones are where a lot of these mass shootings and shootings in general happen," she says. "Whenever criminal see it's a 'gun-free' zone they're like okay that's an easy target because I know nothing there is going to stop me."

"There are districts around where I live that have the Guardian project going on, and whenever the sign on the window says 'We are armed, and we will shoot back,' criminals know that's serious."

That leads to the poll question this morning.
