As more and more proof finally starts to emerge about discrepancies with the 2020 election (*see '2000 Mules'), the other question out there is, will we see a Trump-Biden rematch in 2024?
"I'm pretty sure about Trump that he will run, it's just not in his DNA to give up, so I'm pretty sure that he will run" said political author and commentator Jeffrey Lord, "Biden on the other hand? I've watched president Biden and that's a problem."
The problem being, Joe Biden's mental and cognitive issues.
Either way, with or without Biden, 2024 is not looking good for the Democrats.
"I worked for president Reagan" Lord told KTRH, "One of the reason's president Reagan got elected in the first place was because president Jimmy Carter had done such a terrible job with the economy, and it defeated Jimmy Carter's re-election, and I think that's exactly the effect it will have on Joe Biden if he runs."
With each passing day, that -if- gets bigger. In the meantime, we are going to have to wait until after the midterms.
"If you say you're going to do this before a certain date, you get in trouble with the FEC (Federal Election Commission), as well as financing, and that kind of thing" Lord noted, "So, there's a legal reason for it, but there's also a political reason for it, and that is we're in the 2022 off-year election cycle."
One other note, as Jeffrey Lord pointed out, Donald Trump will try to follow Grover Cleveland (#22 & #24) by coming back to win as the 47th president of the United States.
That leads us to the poll question.
