Protesters at the University of North Texas in Denton were filmed chanting slurs at a father who reportedly lost custody of his child when opposing his transition to becoming a girl.
The confrontation occurred at speaking event hosted by the UNT Young Conservatives of Texas featuring Jeff Younger, a conservative Texas House candidate who has described the gender transitioning of minors as “child abuse” and “mutilation.” Younger lost a long custody battle over his twin children, now 9. One is a boy, the other a trans girl.

Younger’s ex-wife and the twins’ mother is a pediatrician who supported the trans child in her transition.
During Younger's talk, protesters shouted him down with obscenities.
The event was reportedly limited to 80 people, but a large number of protesters were seen outside.
