Roland Caballero, accused of shooting and injuring three Houston Police officers Thursday afternoon, surrendered around 7:45 p.m. after an hours-long standoff.
Caballero, 31, walked out of a home in which he had been barricaded with his hands up.
Police said the suspect had a gunshot wound to the neck at the time of his arrest. It wasn't clear if the wound was from a police officer’s gun, or self-inflicted, but he was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Texas Department of Public Safety records indicate Caballero has been arrested multiple times since 2008.
