The state of Washington has required all of its employees to be vaccinated by today, but Washington State Patrol Trooper Robert LaMay quit ahead of the deadline with a final radio sign-off and a dig at Gov. Jay Inslee, who's enforcing the mandate.
LaMay, a 22-year patrol veteran, issued his resignation on the official dispatch system.
A viral video shows LaMay wrapping up with, “Jay Inslee can kiss my ass.”
After a brief radio silence, the dispatcher issues some words of thanks, the trooper looks at the camera, shrugs and says, “That’s it.”
