President Biden, in Michigan Tuesday to promote his massive social-spending bill currently stalled in Congress and greeted by signs displayed by Trump supporters as he made his way to the site of his address, made a pointed remark in reaction.
“Notwithstanding some of the signs I saw coming in ... 81 million Americans voted for me. The largest number of votes in American history,” Biden said during his speech, reminding listeners that he ran for president to seek "... an economy that looks out from Howell, Michigan, and towns like it all over America, that brings people from every race, background, religion into the game."
