Tomas Gomez, 18, was hitting golf balls at Topgolf in San Antonio Friday as a storm was building in the area.
With his brother, sister and some friends looking on, Gomez launched a ball that got struck by a bolt of lightning in mid-flight.
His friend, Arlette Ibarra, was shooting video on her phone and captured the one-in-a-million moment.
No one was injured in the incident.
