President Joe Biden lost his temper Wednesday when answering a question from CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins following his Geneva summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Collins had asked Biden why he was confident Putin would change his behavior following their meeting.
"I'm not confident he'll change his behavior," said a frustrated Biden. "When did I say I was confident?"
Collins then pointed out that Putin denied involvement in cyberattacks and brushed off charges of human rights abuses. She then asked, "How does that amount to a constructive meeting?"
Biden responded, "If you don't understand that, you're in the wrong business." He then left without addressing her question.
Before boarding Air Force One, however, Biden walked to a group of reporters on the tarmac and said he owed Collins "an apology."
"I shouldn't have been such a wise guy with the last answer I gave," Biden said.
