School teacher Lilit Vanetsyan confronted school board officials meeting in Loudoun County Virginia on Tuesday, objecting to what she described as radical lesson plans that teach students to "root for socialism by the time they get to middle school."
A number of parents and educators nationwide have been speaking out against the controversial "critical race theory," which opponents claim is a divisive curriculum that teaches adolescents to judge one another by skin color.
Vanetsyan said her colleagues are afraid to speak out against teaching the theory for fear of losing their jobs.
