Time to change your clocks again this weekend, but if some Texas lawmakers get their way, the practice could soon be coming to an end.
A pair of bills introduced in Austin this year would place the issue of daylight saving time on a statewide ballot. Voters would choose to either remain on standard time or DST.
“I think that's a really brilliant idea and I really hope the Texas Legislature considers it,” says Scott Yates, who operates an anti-time change blog called LockTheClock.
“It could possibly be a role model for other states around the country. All of the country will watch to see what the vote of the people is.”
That leads us to the poll question today.
