The new year has arrived, and so has the vaccine. But after proclaiming that 20 million doses would be administered by the end of the year, only 4.2 million Americans have received their shots. So what's the hold-up? Why the delay? Dr. Robin Armstrong told KTRH there are a number of reasons why the vaccine rollout is not quite up to 'warp' speed, but he also points out that here in Houston, and the state of Texas, we are leading the way. "Texas has such a huge medical infrastructure, that we are set up to be more successful than other states. We're ahead of the game."
