The early voting period, expanded this year because of high demand during the pandemic, opens this morning across Texas.
In Fort Bend County, elections administrator John Oldham says there is a lot of demand to vote early.
"Our vote by mail numbers are up. We are looking at 210-215-thousand in person, and then another 65 to seventy on Election Day," Oldham explained. "Typically we have 70% of our registered voters vot in a Presidential election. Seventy percent of those people vote early; either in person or by mail."
This leads to our poll question this morning
