Portland protesters tear down statues of Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt

Statues of Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt were toppled in Portland, Oregon, Sunday night. The monuments, brought down during an “Indigenous Day of Rage,” were vandalized with the words “STOLEN LAND” spray-painted on their bases. The Roosevelt statue was marked with “MURDERER.”
