The Supreme Court was already an issue in the 2020 Presidential race. It has now become an even bigger one, with the death on Friday of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg from cancer at the age of 87.
The President has indicated he will move sooner rather than later, and announce a nominee to fill her seat this week. That has the Democrat crying foul, saying they should leave it open the way Republicans left it open following the death of Justice Antonin Scalia in 2016.
