A Texas woman has reeled in a big catch.
Josie Silva from San Antonio reeled in a 9-foot female tiger shark on Labor Day.
Silva says she caught the estimated 300-pound shark near Bob Hall Pier in Corpus Christi, and that it was a personal record.
Silva says the fight between her and the shark lasted about 45 minutes.
"It was really hard. I'm not going to lie," she told a San Antonio newspaper. "She was really heavy. My rod was completely bowed over several times during the fight."
