Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins wasn't all that concerned about COVID-19 when he was asked about it last month on a podcast. In fact, he took the attitude of, "If I die, I die."
Then the mainstream media got a hold of what he said and Cousins pulled a Drew Brees and 'clarified' his statement on Twitter.
If you recall, Brees retracted comments he made about kneeling for the national anthem earlier this year after mainstream media blowback.
