The St. Louis couple who pointed firearms at protesters last week beefed up the security of their home, and for good reason. The protesters came back.
Hundreds of protesters returned on Friday and surrounded the fence around the property of Mark and Patricia McCloskey, who are personal injury lawyers, as more than a dozen men in casual clothing walked the grounds.
Protesters stopped at the McCloskeys' home for approximately 15 minutes, carrying signs that read "Black Lives Matter," "Defund the Police," and "No Justice, No Peace." They also chanted phrases such as, “When Black lives are under attack, what do we do? Stand up, fight back,” and “This is what democracy looks like.” One of the men on the McCloskeys' balcony clapped with protesters.
