Astros ace Justin Verlander is getting paid during the coronavirus outbreak, but he isn't keeping the money.
Over the weekend, Verlander announced that he will donate his paychecks to a different nonprofit each week.
Verlander made the announcement with his wife, model Kate Upton, on Instagram.
Once he receives his paycheck, Verlander said he will announce the first organization he will donate to.
Verlander, of course, was traded to Houston by the Detroit Tigers during the 2017 season, and helped the Astros wins their first World Series.
