We are seeing a lot of patriotism during the pandemic. That includes what a flag maker in Kentucky is doing.
Veteran Chris Cruise is using his company to honor healthcare workers amid the outbreak.
Cruise and his wife own Cruise Custom Flags, which creates American flags out of Kentucky bourbon barrels. They have now designed a custom flag for those on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic, which features a heart rhythm on the stripe below the stars.
The company is donating all profits from the custom made flags, called “America-One Heart Beat Edition” to University of Louisville Healthcare. The flags cost $60.
