None of us can watch live sports because of the coronavirus outbreak. But the play-by-play broadcasters we are used to watching are managing to keep their skills sharp.
For instance, Joe Buck, Fox Sports' top play-by-play man, put out a request to people to send him personal videos that he will call. A London-based rugby announcer has gone viral for doing a similar thing.
And then yesterday, "The NHL on NBC Sports" released a video that should brighten every hockey fan's day in the absence of actual games: Mike Emrick calling a trip to the auto shop.
Yep, the man they call 'Doc' did play by play of a trip to the auto shop. And it's priceless.
