Up until now, former Astros manager A.J. Hinch has been quiet about the sign stealing scandal that cost him his job here in Houston.
But that was up until now. Hinch is speaking out publicly for the first time today.
Hinch sat down with Tom Verducci of the MLB Network, who asked Hinch whether or not the 2017 World Series title was tainted by the scandal.
Hinch called the question "fair."
Hinch and Jeff Luhnow both lost their jobs because of the scandal. Hinch was replaced by Dusty Baker last week. This week the Astros hired James Click as GM. The team reports to Florida for spring training next week.
