To say that the liberal Hollywood elite didn't like Ricky Gervais' opening monologue at the Golden Globes would be an understatement.
The actors in the audience were stunned. Twitter blew up. It hasn't stopped. And Gervais has had enough of it.
Gervais tore into critics who went after him for his opening monologue in a Tweet.
"How the f--- can teasing huge corporations, and the richest, most privileged people in the world be considered right wing?" Gervais wrote.
That's a great question, Ricky. The only answer is that it's 2020, and anything the Hollywood elites don't like is automatically considered right wing.
