As the news broke that Qasem Soleimani, the leader of Iran's infamous Quds Force, was killed in a U.S. airstrike on Friday morning, The Washington Post sent out a news alert and a tweet hailing a man who has been accused of being a brutal terrorist thug as "Iran's most revered military leader."
Yes, you read that correctly.
An American newspaper called a foreign military figure, one that has been accused of doing horrible things, "revered." Of course, they changed the headline after being called out for it.

We wonder what the headline would have been if the airstrike had happened under Barack Obama.
