The woman in the Peleton ad that has caused so much controversy over the last week, got a sweet new gig.
Monica Ruiz, the actress in that Peleton spot, is featured in a commercial for Aviation Gin, a project that actor Ryan Reynolds is involved with.
Ruiz also did a recent interview and spoke about the Peleton controversy.
She didn't have anything bad to say about Peloton. In fact, she's thankful for the opportunity to be in the ad.
"I was happy to accept a job opportunity earlier this year from Peloton and the team was lovely to work with," Ruiz said in a statement first given to Deadline. "Although I'm an actress, I am not quite comfortable being in spotlight and I'm terrible on social media. So to say I was shocked and overwhelmed by the attention this week (especially the negative) is an understatement."
