The Houston Texans’ linebackers have been coordinating outfits before games this season, and what they did yesterday might have been the best one they have pulled off.
Before the 28-22 win over Tom Brady and the Patriots, Texans’ linebackers Benardrick McKinney, Zach Cunningham, Brennan Scarlett, Peter Kalambayi, and Whitney Mercilus wore what looked like S.W.A.T. vests into the stadium. Of course it was captured on video.
Texans fans were understandably nerous. The mighty Patriots were in town, and the memories of what happened when the texans went into New England years ago wearing those infamous varsity jackets still haven't faded.
But, no worries this time. The Texans stunned the Pats, and even got some good news on the injury front. J.J. Watt says his rehab is going so well that he could return for a playoff run.
