By now you have seen the protests in Hong Kong that have been taking place this week. What you may not have seen is the respect the protesters are showing the United States.
American flags began making an appearance as a symbol of freedom during these protests. In one video, protesters are holding a line of American flags as one of them begins to sing the “Star-Spangled Banner,” the American national anthem.
And, unlike with some of our superstar athletes, there was no kneeling.
