The English like to brag about not having gun crime issues. But, they have other crime problems they haven't gotten a handle on.
The city of London has experienced a sharp increase in knife-related crime, despite efforts called “knife control” to curb the violence.
Knife crime in both England and Wales is up 8% from April 2018 to May 2019. Police there say that information from 43 departments shows 47,136 incidents involving sharp objects.
