City officials are pushing for state officials to declare a state of emergency for what they believe is the biggest increase in rodent population in the history of Los Angeles, California.
“California is being overrun by rodents – and without immediate emergency action by state and local government, we face significant economic costs and risk a public health crisis,” said Carl DeMaio according to CBS LA
The rodent population has gone up by and alarming 60% in the past year. See the clip below:
