(Powhatan Co., VA) -- A Sheriff's Office K-9 is being celebrated for helping find lost children in Powhatan County. The sheriff's office posted on Facebook yesterday that K-9 Bane helped find two eight-year-old kids.
They said the dog was called in Saturday evening when the sun was starting to go down and families and neighbors hadn't had any luck finding them. K-9 Bane found the young pair after 15-minutes. Powhatan deputies say things like this are why they keep their K-9 program going strong.
